They will be on file in your portfolio for grading and must be no more than 2 paragraphs long, spelling and grammar will be part of your grade. The following subjects are required for your writings, one on each subject and all must be health related. They may be someones personal story you read about, a new technology being used to diagnose, or informative on the topic, etc. Topics are; burns, health related ethical dilemma, an integumentary disease, cardiovascular, muscular, cancer, nutrition, and one health related of your choice. You must also site your source. REMEMBER TO PICK DIFFERENT TOPICS THAN YOUR LAST ASSIGNMENT.

- Find the most important information that tells what the paragraph or group of paragraphs is about. Write this into a topic sentence.
- Find 2 - 3 main ideas and important details that support your topic sentence and show how they are related.
- Combine several main ideas into a single sentence.
- Substitute a general term for lists of items or events.
- Do not include trivial information or unimportant details.
